So Old New Borrowed Blue didn't work out so well. I don't feel awful about it -- I mean, I've had my hands full and all. But I do NOT regret it, it was a great idea and I know myself well enough to know that if I would not have opened that little boutique I would have spent the rest of my days saying to myself "what if" every time I walked past an empty retail space for lease.
I'm faced with either starting over, changing the rules or pivoting about 90 degrees.

What's the difference between failing / giving up and calling it a pivot? To me, if you tried and knew the limit, did your best and moved on the the next opportunity then it’s a pivot. If you fail, you cry about it and get angry at yourself for what was wasted... that is so not me. Honestly, as long as you’re in the game and you don’t give up – then high five! Call it what you want.

 Thoughts?
