Ya... A little bit of hairspray goes a long way!

Kimberly: I’m Kimberly ,owner and primary stylist of Kismet salon. I am clearly NOT a writer but started a blog to share my thoughts on life, being a single mom, and beauty. I have been working in the beauty biz since 1990. My experience includes instructing the basics of hairstyling in beauty schools, educating experienced stylists for a haircare product company and many years behind the chair specializing in cutting and formal styling in high end salons. …But my most important job began in 2002 when I had my first child, leaving behind the salon to start a business doing on location formal hairstyling, thus allowing me to be a full time mom. My two boys are now school age (where does the time go?) I am back to working behind the chair. I divorced in 2010 I am now experiencing life as a single mom. My new life has not been a huge domestic adjustment since I felt independent during my married life because my husband left me alone most of the time anyway. But it did mean learning to date for the first time since I was 20. It has been one big adventure. I love the life I have now with my two great kids by my side, often serving as inspiration.
